Giving back when you can is a necessary way to live and love on this planet. In 2020, we launched our #ShareTheHiLove giveback campaign to extend that mission to persons and organizations who could use a little extra love.
Each purchase during the month of March and April contributes to a donation to The Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund as part of our ongoing #ShareTheHiLove campaign.
Monarch butterflies have decreased in population by 80% in the last 20 years, and have a 60% likelihood of extinction in the next 2 years. Up to 40% of America’s Honey Bees die every year. The habitat for butterflies and bees, including Milkweed which is a vital food source, is rapidly declining and puts monarchs and other pollinators at extreme risk. Our agriculture, food supply, and other products require pollination by bees and other insects, making it very important to take action and ensure these species do not go extinct.

The Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Jamestown, ND, whose mission is to reverse the trend of disappearing pollinators and wildlife habitat in the United States through their NextGen Habitat Project. They work with landowners, conservationists, beekeepers and more to provide high quality seeds to establish sustainable pollinator habitats that help the honey bee and monarch butterfly populations thrive. They provide free or discounted pollinator seed mixes, guidance, and help maintain the project for 5 years minimum.

Every $100 dollars donated to this foundation helps to put 1 acre of habit on the landscape. Hi Love provided financial support to The Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund in March 2023 as part of our ongoing #ShareTheHiLove Campaign. We thank you for your contribution!
Hi Love also provides milkweed seeds with every Butterfly Pack purchase for you to contribute directly to saving the butterflies by planting seeds near you!
