About Kasia & Sabrina
Kasia: "My name is Katarzyna. I am polish living in America for the past 32 years. I am originally from Poland, but I split my time between Chicago and Marco Island. I am usually running around taking care of someone or helping others, which is what I love, but when it is time to unwind, I love to listen to some music and put together a pretty flower arrangement."
Sabrina: "I am originally from Chicago, but I now live in New York. I work in Finance, and in my free time lately, I've enjoyed staying active by taking tennis and golf lessons, going to various art exhibits, or attending a Broadway production."
What They Love Most About Traveling
Kasia: "Thanks to my husband Richard I have been traveling all over the world. I love to visit new countries, learn about its people and culture. The world is one beautiful place with endless possibilities. I love the new experiences, but I also adore the friends we make along the way. I am a big people person."
Sabrina:
"Similar to my mom, we've been blessed to have traveled to so many places and have experienced so many different cultures. Recently though, I've really enjoyed watching someone else experience a place for the first time and seeing that pure excitement or joy."
Why They Chose to Go To Antarctica
Kasia: "We chose Antarctica because it’s the last continent my husband didn’t put the foot in. It was an amazing journey. This trip made number one on my list."
Sabrina: My dad is a really big traveler, and Antarctica was the last continent that he needed to visit. The idea seemed surreal, so we couldn't turn it down.
The Highlights of Their Trip
Kasia: "The highlights of my trip would be camping in the most possible nature you could be camping. Me, the wind, sound of falling glacier and seals around. The most amazing way to wake up in the morning was this. Although it was a bit challenging I would it again as well as the polar plunge which I am so proud of."
Sabrina: "Camping overnight on Antarctica was particularly special. This isn't a common offering as the conditions can change so quickly, so we were very lucky to be able to experience this. Our tents were set up right between a huddle of penguins and two seals! We sailed with @Vikingcruises, and they went above and beyond to make our expedition to Antarctica the most memorable."
We brought our Puffer Tote along for the sub zero temperature adventure!
The Next Destination They Hope to Visit
Kasia: "I have a few places in mind that I would love to visit. Africa, New Zealand and Australia."
Sabrina: "I'd second my mom's answer, but I'd love to see the Silverback Gorillas in Rwanda."
When Did They First Discover Hi Love?
Kasia & Sabrina: "Through our dear friend, Melissa, of course! We always thought she had the coolest things - be it clothes, sneakers, or even snacks - so anything she put her name behind, we were immediate fans of!"
Their Favorite Hi Love Bags and How They Use Them
Kasia: "The founder of Hi Love Travel happens to be my best friend so I was the proud owner of the first weekender! What an amazing bag!!! Light, stylish, simply the best bag I ever owned. Since that many of wonderful items arrived. My favorite is carryall - I absolutely love my carryall tote! I cannot live without it! I love my purse and the tote! I love the cosmetics case. I am a proud owner of many Hi Love Travel items. Right now I am in Budapest looking at my weekender, my tote, my purse, and my cosmetics case. All of them make my travel so easy and safe.
