Love on the Road - Liz & Lacy
Liz & Lacy are twins that were born in a small town in East Texas called Lufkin. They both went to collage at LSU in Baton Rouge, LA. They now reside with their families in Dallas, Texas. Hi Love is lucky to have met these two and we can't wait for you to learn more about them below!
Meet Lacy
"I’m married to Todd and we have 2 boys…a 19 year old who just started his freshman year at LSU and a 16 year old. I am a teacher! I taught 6th grade for about 7 years before having the boys, stayed home with them for a few years, and now just started my 15th year as a preschool teacher! My hobbies include watching my boys play sports, volunteering at their school (I’m currently the PTA president at the high school), shopping, reading, working out and traveling!"
Travel Love:
"We just recently traveled to Hawaii (Maui and Kauai, with a day trip to Oahu) and I absolutely loved it! I love the beauty of the islands…from the beaches and huge ocean waves to the mountains, cliffs, waterfalls, plants and flowers. There is just so much to see and something for everyone! We wanted to go somewhere just our family of 4 before our older son left for college and it checked all the boxes! We had adventures and a lot of sightseeing with bike rides, hikes, watching the sunrise on Haleakala, driving the Road to Hanna, and cruising/snorkeling along the Napali Coast. We got in a day of history with a tour of Pearl Harbor, and had lots of relaxing pool and beach time! It was the perfect family vacation."
Meet Liz
"I have a degree in Interior Design, and have been busy raising two kids for the last 19+ years. Most of my time these days is spent watching my 16-year-old daughter cheer, play soccer, or run track, and I try to go see my son at college in Arkansas as often as I can! I enjoy date nights with my husband, spending time with friends, working out, playing tennis, snow skiing, watching college football (Geaux Tigers!), going to concerts, and traveling."
Travel:
"It’s hard to pick my favorite place I’ve traveled! We went to Spain for the first time last summer, and I loved it so much. Everything about it…the architecture, scenery, food, and people were all so incredible and beautiful! We travel to Aspen/Snowmass regularly, and it is definitely my happy place. Skiing there in the winter is amazing, but the summers are even better! I love hiking, biking, shopping, restaurants, and just being outside all the time (which you can’t do in the summer in Texas!)"
Hi love connection
In the summer of 2018, Liz & Lacy were in Aspen with their husbands and met the founder, Melissa at a Hi Love pop-up when they were out shopping! It was the first time they had ever seen Hi Love and they both purchased some fanny packs, totes and pouches. They also visited Melissa again when she had another trunk show in Dallas.

“I use my Puffer fanny pack for pretty much everything you can imagine…hiking, skiing, sightseeing, walking my dogs, and at the soccer field. I love it because it holds so much!”
"I use the medium and jumbo size pouches for all of my sunscreen to put inside my tote! I also pack my toiletries in them when I travel. They are the best!
“ I have 3 Carryall Totes because they are so great! I mainly use them for a beach bag because they are water resistant and hold everything I need. They come in the best colors, too!”
Lacy's Hi Love Favorites
“It holds so much and is so lightweight! I’ve taken it to the lake and on girls' trips, and my trip to Baton Rouge to drop our son off at college for the first time. Having a cute new bag sure cheered me up when I had to say goodbye!”
I always have one of these in whatever purse I’m carrying to hold lipgloss and beauty products. But my favorite use for it now is to put inside clear bags for football games!”
“My favorite beach bag! I love that it’s so lightweight and can fold up easily into my suitcase when going on a beach trip instead of having another bag to have to carry when traveling!”
