Giving back when you can is a necessary way to live and love on this planet.
In 2020, we launched our #ShareTheHiLove giveback campaign to extend that mission to persons and organizations who could use a little extra love. Each purchase this season contributes to a donation to Ronald McDonald House as part of our ongoing #ShareTheHiLove campaign.
In a time of need during our founder’s family emergency, HeartFelt House, one of the RMH’s was there with a warm welcome, comfortable room, meals, and a calming space to come, rest and recharge. We plan to give back to the Chicago community by cooking and providing meals for RMH. Plus, a portion of sales this season will go to this amazing organization!
"In 1984, after years of planning, the first Oregon Ronald McDonald House opened its doors to families in need." The first House began providing comfort and relief to families needing to be close to their child’s hospital bed. Nearly four decades later, RMHC of Oregon & SW Washington has expanded from that first 17-room House into a statewide network of four Houses with 80 rooms and four in-hospital programs serving thousands of families every year.
While our charitable mission, and 100% of our fundraised dollars, are focused on providing family-centered care for children from birth to 21, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon & SW Washington is benefitted by business agreements with three Oregon hospitals to operate adult patient and family housing programs. Through these partnerships RMHC is supported by a sustainable stream of earned revenue and is able to offer our unique brand of compassionate hospitality to a broader segment of the community."
